NUECES COUNTY (Kiii News) — 3News has learned the fifth suspect wanted in connection with the double murder in the London Estates neighborhood on Balchuck Lane has been arrested.
The U.S. Marshal Office arrested Jordan Gosson on Wednesday just after 8 p.m. along the 1500 block of South Port.
According to officials with the US.. Marshal's Office, Gosson turned himself in and met authorities at his attorney's office.
Investigators say at least four of the men broke into the home of 39-year-old Arturo Lopez and his wife, 38-year-old Miriam, on Monday, April 2, looking to steal items but ended up shooting and killing them.
The first person arrested in connection with the case was 18-year-old Trebor Wheeler. He was arrested April 11 in Killeen, Texas. He was brought back to Nueces County the following day.
Two others, 20-year old Ausencio Acosta and Adrian Olivarez, were arrested earlier this week. Then late Wednesday afternoon, it was discovered that 31-year-old Ismael Castillo was arrested.
Robert Angel Lopez Jr. is the only suspect that remains at-large.
