ROCKPORT, Texas — The Lamar Volunteer Fire Department held their annual fundraiser Friday and Saturday.
The event, 'LaMardi Gras', was held all weekend and included a parade, live music, beer, themed food and auctions.
The parade held trophies for a "best of" contest that included a "best" golf cart, "best" float and "best" decorated car.
Proceeds of the event went towards Lamar Fire Department facilities, equipment and training.
