CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Tuesday, the day before Valentine's Day 2024, many local stores were filled with last-minute shoppers all across the city.
Many scurried to get balloons, cards and chocolates for the ones they love. But by far, one of the most wanted sought after gifts for the holiday was fresh flowers.
Local florist Gina over at Gina's Flowers on Kostoryz told 3NEWS they were extremely busy this eve of Valentine's Day.
The most popular flower and color asked for? Red roses, of course!
"We tried to get different flowers but everyone wants red so I canceled the other colors [and said] okay red, no more colors," Gina said.
