CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A very special green sea turtle named Crush celebrated 16 years at the Texas State Aquarium Wednesday.
Crush was originally found on the beach in 2008 after being hit by boat.
Rescued by the Amos Rehabilitation Keep, the turtle arrived at her forever home in February of that year.
Crush's unique skill is floating to the top of the water—because of her boat injury—her shell traps air making her buoyant!
Everyone here at 3NEWS wishes Crush a very happy anniversary!
