CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The 14th Annual Miles for Meals 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run is coming for the Corpus Christi Bayfront!
Coastal Bend Food Bank (CBFB) Executive Director Bea Hanson joined us on First Edition to invite the public to run and walk for a good cause.
The Miles for Meals 5K Run/Walk will take place Saturday, Nov. 18, from 5-8 p.m. at Waters Edge Park, located at 602 S. Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the CBFB's "Kids Backpack Program," which aims to provide a bag of nutritious food to food-insecure students every Friday during the school year.
Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available.
