TEXAS, USA — H-E-B has issued a voluntary recall for select flavors of their "Creamy Creations" 12-count packs of 3-ounce ice cream cups for possible metal contamination.
According to the company, the affected products were distributed to all H-E-B stores in Texas and Mexico and Central Market, Joe V’s Smart Shop and Mi Tienda stores.
The voluntary recall impacts chocolate, lime/orange sherbet combo and homemade vanilla/chocolate combo flavor packs.
As of Saturday, there have been no injuries related to this recall. The company said all products related to this recall have been removed from store shelves.
The company said customers who have purchased these products should not eat them and can return affected products to the store for a full refund.
