DALLAS — Texas Roadhouse cinnamon honey butter was spotted on DFW Walmart shelves, stirring up excitement -- and hunger -- online.
Several outlets reported that the iconic cinnamon butter is now in Walmart, including in some select North Texas stores. We can confirm, via Walmart's online shopping tool, that the butter is available at at least two DFW Walmarts for $3.48.
The new product dropped several months after the Louisville, Kentucky-based restaurant rolled out frozen mini-rolls at select Walmart stores in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
The rolls were on sale in Walmart freezer sections in those select states and feature 12 mini rolls in a ready-to-bake pan that comes with the brand's signature honey cinnamon butter to glaze the rolls or serve on the side. Those frozen rolls are still not available in North Texas from what we can tell. But here's a tip, just buy some frozen Parker House rolls and the butter and boom, basically the same thing.
However, if you want to bring the taste of Texas Roadhouse home, as of 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 you can find it in at least two North Texas stores: The Fort Worth Super Center off Jacksboro Highway and the Plano Super Center off N Central Expressway.
Now, if those locations are sold out by the time you read this article please lodge your complaints elsewhere. Surely they'll be restocked soon.
