CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi has opened registration for their Christmas Community enrollment project until Oct. 31 for those who may need assistance this holiday season.
Community Christmas provides a Christmas food basket for families in need, as well as toys for children that would otherwise go without over the holidays.
You can register at their office on Oliver Court from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays.
To register for the Christmas food basket, you must provide proof of residence and a photo I.D.
To register for Toys for Tots, you will need to bring proof of residents, a photo I.D., proof of income, and birth certificate or guardianship documents for the child.
The food baskets and toys will be distributed Dec. 18 through 21.
Volunteers are also needed to help assemble and distribute the items that will be donated.
