CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — As our coronavirus cases decrease locally, businesses around the city are trying to adjust to the new normal.
Today, a memo was sent out to vendors at La Palmera Mall. In the memo, the General Manager, Amanda Sanchez, shared details about the gradual return to normal operating hours.
"Instead of immediately jumping back to our regular schedule, we will use October as our transition month to give businesses the opportunity to begin ramping up on staffing, particularly as we are also moving into the holiday shopping season," the memo read.
New Hours
Beginning Sunday, Oct. 4 - Oct. 31
- Sundays: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Monday - Saturday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Mall doors open at 9 a.m.
Beginning Sunday, Nov. 1
- Sundays: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Monday - Saturday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Mall doors open at 7 a.m.
Sanchez said restaurants and department store hours will vary. The memo also stated that all tenants will be required to operate during the official hours, as per their lease agreement.
A holiday schedule is expected to be released sometime later this year. La Palmera will be closed on Thanksgiving, but will reopen for Black Friday at 7 a.m.
