BUFFALO, N.Y. — Yes, pumpkin spice season is back.

It's not just because Starbucks will start serving its fall menu on Thursday, either, although that is a highly anticipated event for coffee drinkers nationwide.

Retail stores — from Target, to Michael's, to Lowe's and Hope Depot — have been selling Halloween decorations for weeks, and you can find Halloween candy just about anywhere sweets are sold. And, of course, the first Spirit Halloween stores have opened across Western New York.

Some pumpkin beers are already in stores as well.

Aside from the usual pumpkin spice options (latte, cold brew, and cream chai), Starbucks will also introduce an iced apple crisp non-dairy chai drink for this fall lineup.
