CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Friday is the unofficial start to spring break in the Coastal Bend and one popular Padre Island restaurant had to close their doors due a fire overnight.
Scuttlebutt's Seafood Bar and Grill put a message on their Facebook page that they will be closed until further notice due to "unforeseen circumstances."
The Corpus Christi Fire Department Fire Prevention Office said there was a report of a grease tank fire at the restaurant overnight and an investigator was called out after it was extinguished.
