CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The USS Lexington announced plans to reopen its doors on Friday, May 22, just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
Museum staff have been cleaning and disinfecting everything in preparation. They do ask that guests maintain a social distance from each other and make use of hand washing and sanitizer stations throughout the ship.
They said masks are not required, but they are encouraging people to wear them.
The Lexington is expected to open at 9 a.m.
