The Bishop Badgers finally buried their region semifinal round demons, now they can finally focus on the ultimate goal: getting to the state tournament.
The Badgers snapped their four-year streak of losing in the region semifinal with a 2-1 series win over Danbury this past Saturday. Now Bishop gets a tough East Bernard team coming off a sweep of Banquete.
Bishop and East Bernard open up their series Thursday night at 7 p.m. at San Marcos High School. The series resumes in San Marcos Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
