Corpus Christi police were called out to an vehicle accident around 7:30 Tuesday morning on I-37 and Navigation Blvd.
According to police, a flatbed truck was traveling south on I-37 when a red car coming up the entrance ramp lost control and spun out, causing it to hit the truck head on.
Investigators cited the driver of the red car for speeding and not having a drivers license. The car was impounded.
