Share Your Christmas is here!
3NEWS is so proud to have been a part of this annual partnership with the Coastal Bend Food Bank for the last 37th years, helping the serve families in need in 11 area counties.
If you're in a position to do so, there are several ways you can help:
- Monetary donations are being accepted here online.
- A phone bank will be available to call in donations from 3-7 p.m. Friday. That phone number is (361) 986-8400.
The IWA cheerleaders and the Hooks' Sammy the Seagull helped us kick things off Friday and we'll have schools, special guests and music throughout the day to get us in the Share Your Christmas mood!
Last year's event raised $117,000.04 from people like you, and businesses around the Coastal Bend, as well as 18,214 lbs. of food from schools and corporate donations.
If you decide to come and drop off a donation at the food bank, just be aware there's a little bit of road construction. But don't fear, just pass the sign, turn into the food ban k parking lot and go back out the way you came!
