Corpus Christi Mayor Nelda Martinez announced Tuesday at City Hall that she will be seeking reelection this November.
A Corpus Christi native, Martinez will be seeking her second term as mayor. She held a seat on City Council for three terms before becoming mayor, and at this time, she is running unopposed.
