CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Every month, Painting with a Twist in Corpus Christi holds a purposeful event. The proceeds from 'Painting with a Purpose' go back to local non-profit organizations.
On Sunday, the proceeds went back to Relay for Life.
Organizers said this is the third time they've hosted an event that benefits Relay for Life and several people showed up to support them.
Relay for Life is an event that is put on by the American Cancer Society. The branch in Corpus Christi has an annual walk that raises money for cancer research, awareness and survivors.
Six cancer survivors joined the colorful class. Employees from Painting with a Twist said they had 50 seats available and all of them sold out.
