Aransas Pass police looking for Aryan Brotherhood gang member

Police said Aaron Cavallin fled the scene of a disturbance near the Palms Apartments in Aransas Pass and was able to get away.

ARANSAS PASS (Kiii News) — Aransas Pass police are looking for an Aryan Brotherhood gang member who fled the scene of a disturbance Tuesday and is wanted on multiple charges.

According to the Aransas Pass Police Department, it was around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday when officers were sent to a disturbance inside a vehicle near the Palms Apartments. Police said a female was present and was being assaulted by the suspect, who was identified as Aaron Cavallin.

When officers arrived, police said Cavallin fled in the vehicle. Officers pursued and the suspect crashed in front of the Peerless Cleaners on Harrison Boulevard. Cavallin then fled on foot.

Officers searched the area for over an hour, but Cavallin got away.

Police said Cavallin is an Aryan Brotherhood gang member and is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender and a probation violation for sexually fondling a child. Authorities are seeking two more warrants for Cavallin for evading arrest and felon in possession of a firearm. They said a third warrant for assault causing injury may result, but is still being investigated.
