CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police are investigating a burglary that took place around 2:40 a.m. Monday at the West Marine in the 7600 block of SPID.
According to police, when officers arrived at the scene they found that the front door of the building had been rammed by a vehicle. Police said it looked as though some rods and reels were stolen, but store owners are taking inventory to see what else may have been taken.
Police said a white truck was possibly involved in the burglary. The business remains closed temporarily.
