CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police were called to a shooting at Leigh and Villa drives on the city's westside just after 9 p.m. on Sunday night.
CCPD said a 17-year-old boy was shot in the stomach and was transported to a local hospital. Authorities said the victim and another man got into an argument before the shooting.
On Monday morning, detectives learned the 17-year-old victim had died from his injuries. While no suspect is in custody at this time, police are questioning a person of interest in the case.
