KINGSVILLE, Texas — Police have arrested one suspect and identified the two victims in a shooting Wednesday night at a home on East Alice Street in Kingsville, Texas.
According to the Kingsville Police Department, 29-year-old John Phillip Garza was arrested for shooting two people with a shotgun, sending them both to the hospital.
Garza was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with bond set at $100,000 for each count, as well as one count of harassment of a public servant, which comes with a $25,000 bond.
As of Thursday morning, authorities said one victim was still in the Intensive Care Unit. The condition of the other victim is unknown at this time.
Police said the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information related to the shooting is asked to contact their department at 361-592-4311.
