CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The bodies of two women were found Thursday night after a man fired shots at Corpus Christi police in the 3000 block of Antelope Street.
That man now faces multiple charges of capital murder.
The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victims Monday as 32-year-old Priscilla Davila and 37-year-old Sonya Quintanilla-Trejo.
According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, officer were dispatched to the area in reference to a stabbing when their patrol units were fired upon. While searching for the shooter, officers found 41-year-old Larry Darnell Moore, who they determined to be the shooter. Police said he had dropped the weapon by the nearby apartments.
As officers investigated the scene they discovered an apartment where another shooting had occurred. The bodies of two women were found inside.
Moore was arrested for capital murder, as well as two counts of attempted capital murder, and was taken to the City Detention Center.
