Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend, This One’s For The Gals, and Buc Days are teaming up
to provide young girls the chance to participate in Gulf Coast Growth Ventures’ 2024 Girls
Summer Leadership Camp.
All high school girls, from Freshmen to Seniors, are invited for a week of hands-on learning and
to get exposed to different skilled trades and careers in STEM!
This camp will take place at the Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend for two separate
sessions. Camp dates for Session 4 are July 22nd through 26th and Session 5 are July 29th through August 2nd.
Camp will take place at Craft Training Center Building #2, first floor. Participants must wear
jeans and closed-toed shoes to participate and provide their lunch. Each student is required to
take a drug test before beginning camp.
Campers will hear from guest speakers, take tours of different facilities, and enjoy a little
friendly competition during the Craft Olympics where they can show off what they have learned
throughout their week at camp.
