Special Opportunities from Athletics and Athletic Sponsors
Izzy's Kid's Club Monthly Newsletter
While future Islanders are watching their favorite players this August, current Islanders will be
involved on campus through Waves of Welcome, or WOW. WOW is two weeks of programming
with over 70 events designed to help all Islanders find success through programming that
connects them to student life, student support, and student well-being!
Islanders can attend events that cover a wide range of interests from athletics to academic
clubs (or both!). At the end of the two weeks, there will be an Islanders Beach Bash where
students can watch fireworks on the Island. Waves of Welcome is every Islander's opportunity
to get involved and connected with the Island University.
