The 41st Beach to Bay Relay Marathon kicks off Saturday, May 19 at 7 a.m.
McBee says the following:
-First and second leg runners must use the bus system that starts running at 4:45 a.m. from Sunrise Mall or have a ride drop you off. He says there will be no available parking at the first and second leg site due to Monday's floods leaving standing water on all the grass medians.
-However parking on the island will be available at the Schlitterbahn parking lot, if runners don't mind walking to or from the parking lot to the site.
-Get to your leg site at least an hour early before your runner is expected to arrive.
-Early morning, lunch and evening are the most crowded times at the packed pick up today, Friday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Solomon Ortiz Center.
