It has been six years since Daniel Lopez killed Corpus Christi Police Lt. Stuart Alexander. For the crime, Lopez was sentenced to death. His execution was scheduled for Wednesday evening.
At 6:31 p.m. Wednesday, Lopez was pronounced dead.
