This year, the American Cancer Society predicts that a quarter of a million new cases of lung cancer will be diagnosed. That has prompted Radiology and Imaging to offer limited free lung cancer screenings for the month of July.
Radiology and Imaging, which is located near Christus Spohn Hospital South, will offer the lung screening check for the first 230 people who meet the established at-risk criteria. The company said the screening is quick and easy, and uses a low amount of radiation.
