Later this afternoon, Nueces County Judge Barbara Canales will hold a press conference to discuss the Rapid Infusion Centers being established in Nueces County to combat COVID-19.

According to County leaders, Infusion therapy administers monoclonal antibodies to stimulate the immune system in at-risk patients suffering from mild-to-moderate COVID symptoms and can help patients avoid hospitalization by lessening the symptoms and shortening the duration of their illness.

Judge Canales will be joined by Nueces County Commissioner John Marez, CHRISTUS-Spohn CEO Dr. Osbert Blow, Corpus Christ-Nueces County Public Health Director Annette Rodrigues and other personnel supporting the centers.
