There is word of a looming budget crisis in Kleberg County, at the courthouse specifically -- a shortfall of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Kleberg County Officials are already putting pen to paper and going line by line over each department's budget in an effort to cut costs and possibly give much needed raises to employees.
