CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Back-to-School season is bringing another summer of tourism in Corpus Christi to a close... which means it's now time to recognize the service and hospitality heroes that drove in all that tourism!
Nominations are now open to the public for Visit Corpus Christi's 2024 State of Tourism Awards.
"We want to make sure that we are honoring the people that make up that tourism industry with this event. So this year, we are actually opening up our nominations, and in two weeks, they are closing. The people have the opportunity to be able to celebrate those that they love, those that work in the tourism industry."
Categories reward not only the year's best businesses, but also employees in categories like Best Server, Front Desk Agent and even the "Heart of the House," AKA, that one co-worker that keeps everyone in the kitchen/office/workplace sane!
You can nominate for your favorites by following this link.
You have until Aug. 31 to make your voice heard, and winners will be announced at the State of Tourism Gala on Nov. 21.
