It has been a busy week for U.S. Border Patrol agents at checkpoints around South Texas.
On Saturday, 63 illegal immigrants were found being smuggled at the Falfurrias checkpoint in two separate incidents.
Then, on Tuesday, Kingsville agents seized nearly 80 pounds of cocaine at the Sarita checkpoint.
Both incidents involved tractor trailers and the drivers in each case were arrested.
The street value of the drugs was estimated at more than $2.5 million.
