CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Police Officers were called out to a robbery at an apartment complex along the 4700 block of Wood River Drive around 12:45 p.m. Monday.
The investigation prompted nearby schools to be placed on a lock-down status. Wood River Elementary was placed on lock-down by the distract as of 1 p.m. according to a post on Facebook.
Officials with the Calallen Independent School District followed up with another post 38 minutes later to announced that the High School had been placed on lock-down as well.
They followed up with another update for Wood River Elementary school just before 2 p.m.
The district posted again at 2:10 p.m. stating that the precautionary lockdowns at both campuses had been lifted.
