CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — According to a social media post by Corpus Christi Independent School District, substitute teachers are expected to receive a raise in their daily rates.
The new rates are based off of teacher certifications, and how long the substitute has worked throughout the day.
Last year CCISD raised substitute pay due to difficulty finding staff to fill positions.
