Plans to move the trauma center at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital have been sped up, and the move has prompted questions from the Nueces County Hospital District.
It's the only Level 2 trauma center south of Austin, which means critical patients have always been taken to Memorial Hospital, but come May 2 that will change.
