CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christi is one step closer to opening a desalination facility at the Inner Harbor.
Tuesday, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality gave the city a draft permit for the city's inner harbor seawater desal facility. This is the second of two permits needed from TCEQ to secure the seawater desalination facility.
The TCEQ will be working with the city to schedule a public meeting to go over the draft permit as part of the process.
