ODEM, Texas — Flooding is causing problems across the Coastal Bend this week.
Thursday, the Mayor of Odem, Virginia Garza, said manholes are overflowing with water due to the excessive amounts of rain. This may cause problems with the wastewater sewer, Garza said.
Due to the overflowing manholes, Garza is asking residents to keep toilet flushing to a minimal at this time.
