The City of Corpus Christi was left without a permanent mayor after Dan McQueen resigned from his post just 36 days into his term. Now, a special election is being held May 6 to fill that position.

In this election there will be eight candidates. Over a two-week period, 3News spoke to each of them in the order that they will be listed on the ballot May 6 to help Coastal Bend residents make an informed decision.
