Narcotics officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department have arrested one man following a drug raid at an apartment on Brownlee. The raid happened just after 6:00PM on Tuesday evening. Officers were getting complaints about drug dealing from several concerned citizens in the neighborhood.
After an investigation and series of surveillance of the suspect, officers obtained a search and arrest warrant for the apartment along the 1400 block of South Brownlee.
Inside, investigators found 63 grams of crack cocain, 20 grams of synthetic cannabis, 15 grams of marijuana and a 9mm semiautomatic pistol.
Police arrested 25-year old Eligio Reyes on drug dealing charges, possession of a controlled substance and a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Reyes was taken to the Nueces County Jail.
