CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Corpus Christi man was killed after crashing through a fence in Sandia on Saturday.
It happened around 10:30 a.m., when Texas Department of Public Safety Public Information Sgt. Harold "Rob" Mallory said the tires of 62-year-old Joseph Cibrian's 2005 Chevrolet 2500 work truck initially left the roadway.
As he tried to pull back onto FM 534, Mallory said Cibrian overcorrected and crashed through a barbed wire fence.
The truck rolled over several times and caught fire.
Cibrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
