City of Corpus Christi announces new fall library hours

The changes are currently in effect for the fall season with hours varying by location.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Those who love curling up with a good book during autumn will be seeing some changes at our city's public libraries.

The City of Corpus Christi has announced new hours of operation at all six locations for the fall season.

Hours will vary by location, but the community can expect to see more libraries opening their doors on the weekends! La Retama is the only public library open on Sunday.

La Retama Central Public Library Hours:

Monday:                            CLOSED
Tuesday - Friday:             10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday:          1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Dr. Clotilde P. Garcia Public Library Hours:
Monday -                         10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m
Tuesday - Thursday:       10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday - Saturday:           10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday:                            CLOSED

Ben F. McDonald Public Library Hours:
Monday - Friday:           10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday:                        11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sunday:                          CLOSED

Janet F. Harte Public Library Hours:
Monday - Thursday:      10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday - Saturday:          10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday:                           CLOSED
