CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corvette Club of Corpus Christi revved up their engines and put on a show to support local veteran organizations this Saturday.
Corvette enthusiasts made their way to Veterans' Memorial High School to see some of the city's sweetest rides compete in categories like muscle, imports, and sports cars.
It's the club's 7th year raising funds for the cause and they thanked Auto Nation North and South for donations that keep the event going.
3NEWS asked club president Tyrone Clark how it feels to see the community's support year after year.
"It's a wonderful thing, there's nothing like giving back, especially when you have the community backing you, there's nothing better," he said.
"Every year everybody wants to see the show so every year we're gonna keep putting it on and every year we're gonna keep helping our veterans."
The club gets together for cruises and fundraisers to share their love of corvettes and our community.
If you would like to join, just find them on Facebook or race over to their website: Corpus Christi Corvette Club, Inc.
