CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Monday, March 30

City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County announced there are now 31 cases of the coronavirus in the Coastal Bend. Of the 9 new cases since yesterday, 2 are travel related and 7 are under investigation. 

Sunday, March 29

City or Corpus Christi, Nueces County announced there are now 22 cases of the coronavirus in the Coastal Bend.

Nueces County Public Health District confirmed Sunday afternoon that the four police officers ordered to quarantine due to possible COVID-19 exposure have returned to duty.

"The patient they transported yesterday came back negative for COVID-19 and the officers were cleared to go back to work," officials stated.

Saturday, March 28

City or Corpus Christi, Nueces County announced there are now 21 cases of the coronavirus locally.

City or Corpus Christi, Nueces County and Public Health District officials will host news conferences at 5 p.m. daily to provide the latest updates on COVID-19.
