CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi city leaders will be celebrating the completion of the Don Patricio Causeway with a dedication ceremony Friday.
The bridge -- formerly known as the Park Road 22 Water Exchange Bridge -- officially reopened in November.
The $15 million project started in October 2020 and is complete with three concrete arches -- the middle arch allowing for boat access through a canal, and the other two arches housing a boardwalk for pedestrians.
The bridge is named in honor of Patrick F. Dunn, otherwise known as Don Patricio.
