ANNAVILLE, Texas — A case of rubbernecking was the cause behind an accident Friday afternoon on Interstate 37 near Sharpsburg Road outside of Annaville.
According to police, a driver of a red pickup truck was traveling north on the highway looking at an accident in front of him when he lost control taking a curve.
The man crashed into the side barrier of the road and caused the truck to flip several times.
The driver was thrown from the vehicle and was rushed to a local hospital where he remains in stable condition.
