Early voting began Monday. Here's what to know if you are voting by mail.

Are you eligible to vote by mail? When is the deadline to apply for a ballot? Find out below.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Early voting began Monday for the November election.

This time around, there are 14 state constitutional amendments on the ballot.

Early voting runs through next Friday, with election day taking place on Nov. 7. 

If you are voting by mail in Nueces County, this is what you need to know:

  • Applications for ballot by mail for the joint constitutional election must be received by this Friday.
  • You may send in your application for a ballot by mail to the early voting clerk in-person, by regular   mail or email.
  • In order to qualify for a ballot by mail, you must be 65-years or older on election day, disabled, expecting to give birth, or absent from the county and mailing from outside the U.S.
