CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces County Emergency Services District No. 2 hit the streets for another night of its annual Christmas Float parade.
If you live in the Flour Bluff area, you probably saw them out there or even joined in on the parade.
It's tradition for many to decorate their own rides and hop in line to spread holiday cheer and throw out candy to neighbors.
It's been going on for 65 years.
3NEWS found the fire chief himself, who, tonight, was driving at the head of that parade.
He talked about the event that has become a Coastal Bend holiday favorite.
"Tonight's route was great we see about 1000 people per night and we're always happy to be out," said Chief Weston Beseda. "This is a big tradition for this community that several generations have either participated in or watched, and we're really excited,"
Saturday's parade is expected to be even bigger and better. Check here to see which route they'll hit next.
