Corpus Christi (KIII news) — The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the woman who was killed April 13 while walking across SPID as 32-year-old Kristol Friel.
It was around 11 p.m. Friday, April 13, when the woman and her husband were crossing SPID near Waldron Road. Friel was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene from blunt force trauma.
The driver stopped to call the police and will not face charges.
Friel was said to have moved around often and may have been from out of state.
