CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Downtown Corpus Christi celebrated its 5th annual Food Truck Christmas Village Saturday.
Food trucks gathered to offer all of the city's favorites in one place!
The event was stacked with entertainment for friends and family. The festivities included Christmas music, a play zone and even a petting zoo and pony rides.
There are also vendors lined up to help with that last minute Christmas shopping.
3News spoke with the owners of Boots BBQ & Catering about how it feels for small businesses to come together for events like these.
"It's really important, it's really exciting. We love being part of the community and making really good food for everybody," said Jenie Ellis.
Some of that food includes Texas brisket, and when we asked what makes their brisket so special, co-owner Brad Weaver had a unique answer.
"People without teeth can eat it!"
