CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Former Rockport basketball coach Mark Malone was sentenced to 32 years in federal prison Friday afternoon. He was found guilty on 22 counts of child pornography Thursday.
Malone was the girls varsity basketball coach at Rockport-Fulton High School back in 2020.
Authorities say there is no evidence that any students from the Rockport-Fulton area are victims in this case.
He has been in Aransas County jail since January 2023, but will be transported to a federal prison in the coming weeks.
