CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is celebrating Texas State Parks Day this Sunday with free day of admission to all Texas state parks.
For us in Corpus Christi, that means visitors can enjoy the day at Mustang Island State Park and Lake Corpus Christi State Park free of charge.
Mustang Island State Park is open daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Lake Corpus Christi State Park is open daily from 7 a.m.-10p.m.
You can make a reservation for either park here.
Parkland Passports are also available to veterans that allows for unlimited free entry to all 89 Texas State Parks.
